Your mission
As a Business Developer, you are primarily responsible for driving the widespread adoption of our services and products, building and engaging with a global community of practitioners, and providing crucial strategic insight into the continuous development and innovation of tools and products that can deliver greater insights and value to our stakeholders over time. The position is (at least) 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week), of which you would work at our office in Amsterdam a minimum of three days per week, the Netherlands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Materials Development and Presentation:
Develop and update presentations, pitch decks, and other sales materials to effectively promote Circularity Gap Solution’s work.
Ensure that all sales materials remain relevant, engaging, and tailored to specific audiences and geographies.
Present Circle Economy’s offerings to both new and existing clients, ensuring effective communication of our value proposition.
Business Development and CGS Offerings Conversion:
Respond to and direct incoming requests from our clients. Drive the conversion of all Circularity Gap Solutions offerings, including our standard products like Assessment, Baseline, Roadmapping, Circularity Academy.
Support the entire business development pipeline from initial engagement, proposal and budget development, through to finalizing project contracts.
Continuously support the improvement of the sales pipeline, making it a more efficient and smooth process. Regularly monitor the pipeline to ensure leads are handled efficiently, ensuring a smooth conversion process.
Proposal Writing and Fundraising Support:
Assist in the development of customized proposals, concept notes, and tender applications from start to finish.
Support fundraising efforts by contributing to proposal writing, ensuring alignment with Circle Economy’s strategic goals and client needs.
Market Intelligence and New Offerings Development:
Contribute to product marketing efforts, bringing new offerings to market, helping shape value propositions and pricing by bringing a customer-centric perspective.
Collaborate with product and data teams to refine value propositions based on client insights.
Contribute to the development of business development plans and market entry strategies for new offerings, leveraging client knowledge and market trends.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Coordinate with other business developers within Circle Economy to ensure alignment across projects and proposals.
Work closely with the Consulting team and other internal teams to develop joint project proposals and collaborative approaches to deliver high-quality work.
Promote a collaborative environment and ensure clear communication and shared goals within the Circle Economy team.
External Representation and Networking:
Represent Circle Economy at key conferences, webinars, and other external events, acting as a brand ambassador for the organization.
Collaborate with colleagues to expand and nurture relationships with relevant stakeholders and communities.
Help amplify Circle Economy’s online presence by promoting projects, reports, upcoming events, and other relevant updates through owned media channels.
